Why would you need this booster harness? You're an off-road enthusiast with a winch, on board welder or overlander that is needing to maximize power output for those accessories. A modern AGM type battery or even some specific chemistry Lithium type batteries need to be charged in the 14.5-14.9 voltage range. Your standard Toy/Lex 4pin voltage regulator (the ones we also use) generally are a much lower voltage output around 13.8-14.2 volts. Being able to charge modern AGM batteries to their optimal charge point will help increase battery life while also giving all of your accessories CLEANER power. You're a car audio enthusiast with 2,000+ watts of added audio equipment. Most car audio amplifier brands rate their alternators power by the 14.4-volt range. We all know if you can supply higher voltage, you'll get more power from that amplifier! This is also helpful for modern AGM batteries as well.
